Orlando, Fla — Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is expanding it's operations with a new store in Lake Nona.
The Orlando-based nonprofit opened a 25,000-square-foot store on Narcoossee Road last week, it's third new central Florida location of 2020.
According to Goodwill Industries, the new store has created 40 new jobs, and the company still is hiring at this location and others.
Safety regulations in the stores include one-way aisles, capacity limits and mandatory masks.
The organization has continued to rehire people after laying off about 1,000 employees following the temporary closure of its stores in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic .
Goodwill Industries of Central Florida has 30 retail stores and 20 Donation locations in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard, Volusia and Lake counties.
