They became infamous after a video was posted online showing the middle-aged ladies allegedly stealing a families gear at New Smyrna Beach. Now, Kathleen Duffy and Linda Duffy Kelly are suing Fox News for painting them as thieves when they say they're innocent.
In the new lawsuit, the sisters say Fox News dragged their names through the media mud, using terms like "caught red-handed" and "caught stealing" to describe them.
The video filmed on July 4 by the owner of the beach gear shows the ladies taking down a beach canopy that apparently doesn't belong to them. They got busted but still insist that they thought the canopy was theirs.
