The Osceola County fire department continues to fight a massive hotel fire in Kissimmee.
The fire broke out at the Vacation Lodge Hotel on US-192 near Old Lake Wilson Road around 10:15 Sunday night. The fire began in one room and quickly spread to five other rooms. The entire building is now been engulfed in the flames including the Black Angus Steakhouse that was attached to the hotel.
About 150 people have been displaced.
"We came out and saw smoke and flames, we ran over and the fire alarms werent even going off yet," Terra Davis said. "Three rooms were engulfed."
Davis and her children escaped with only the clothes they were wearing at the time of the fire. She said the fire broke out in one room then quickly spread across the two-story hotel.
Francis Valez, who has lived at the Vacation Lodge for three weeks, was in tears as she watched everything she owned go up in flames.
"It's right there burning, right now, everything, right there my room, everything is gone," Valez said.
