FDA warns on using powdered pure caffeine

The FDA is currently warning people to avoid buying powdered, pure caffeine over the Internet

A single teaspoon of powdered pure caffeine is the equivalent to drinking 25 cups of coffee.

Even small amounts of the pure caffeine can result in accidental overdosing.

However it’s nearly impossible to accurately measure powdered pure caffeine, making it easy to consume a lethal amount.

The FDA is aware of at least one death of a teenager who used powdered pure caffeine.

According to the FDA, parents should be aware young adults and teenagers may be inclined to use the product.
