This was a surprise that a couple vacationing in  Florida never expected.
Kitsy and Billy Wise from James Island, South Carolina were fishing off Homossassa and watching a group of dolphins swim when they heard a strange noise.
"We didn't know what it was. All we heard was the noise. The dolphin hit me in the back, right at my waist, and slammed me into the console," he told
The dolphin, estimated to be around 500 pounds, ended up jumping onto the boat and started squirming on the floor. The captain of the charter boat radioed other boats for help. Rescuers used towels to lift the scared dolphin over the side of the boat and back into the water.
A happy ending: they say the dolphin didn't appear to suffer any major damage and immediately swam off with the rest of the pod.
