In case you needed another example that everything you see on the internet isn’t true.
A photo of what looks like a pit bull that has had its coat dyed with cheetah spots has been causing a frenzy across the web since late March.
People are celebrating the discovery of the "extremely rare 'Albanian Pitbull,'" not taking in the multiple hints that the photo, which has been shared thousands of times, is fake.
Those trying to quell the hysteria point out that the dog is in a salon, where they would typically perform a dog-fur-dyeing process.
And that “Albanian Pitbulls” don’t exist.
Amusingly, local media in Albania reported on the picture saying that the breed is so extraordinarily rare that this is the only one in the whole world.
