The Crime Scene Unit and Orange County Medical Examiner were summoned to the woods behind the Blanchard Park YMCA this afternoon.
A man's body and a gun were reported found in the nearby woods.
It appeared that activities at the YMCA were not affected.
One woman walking her dog told News 96.5 she feels he park is safe, but recalled the 2008 murder of jogger Nicole Ganguzza whose body was found in the park. The murder was never solved.
This investigation appears to be of a suicide, but technicians were spending several hours at the scene, out of public sight. Yellow crime scene tape blocked entrance to the woods where the investigation was being conducted.
