Students arriving at a Tampa area school today discovered a horrifying sight: A dead deer, strung up on the school's flagpole.
Florida Wildlife officials say the deer was a full-grown 4-point buck, and appeared to have been dead for about six hours before it was left in front of the school.
Faculty members at Brandon High School believe it was a prank, not an actual threat.Â
Local authorities are investigating.Â
