**UPDATE 5:03 a.m.**
The College Park bear is still on the loose but no one knows exactly where it is. An FWC contractor shot the young bear with a paintball gun to scare it out of a tree on Country Club Drive Tuesday afternoon. It was last spotted Tuesday night on Edgewater Drive.
Residents have been looking up in the trees to check out their new furry neighbor.
"I was actually in the laundry room doing, folding laundry and I looked out the window and I saw a shadow, and I thought, 'That is a very large dog,'" resident Arden Magee said.
FWC says they don't want to tranquilize the bear because of safety risks to it and people. Residents are still being urged to stay indoors and if they come across the bear, do not approach it.
