CAPE CANAVE, Fla. — Cape Canaveral city leaders agreed to consider tripling the property tax rate to 10 mills to address a $4 million budget deficit.

The city manager has requested an investigation into how the shortfall occurred.

Public input will be heard at a meeting on September 3rd, with a final vote scheduled for September 15th.
