Bachelor party bust nets 31 behind bars

Polk Sheriff Officers sent the word out through the internet, posing as bachelor parties seeking entertainment.   In an annual three day operation, deputies arrested 31 people from across Central Florida and even from other states.

The sting took place over three days beginning December 1st.   Spokeswoman Carrie Eleazer said the women came in three groups.  Each group was driven by a what detectives call a pimp.    The women were offering to have sex with multiple partners in one evening as entertainment.   All involved were taken to the Polk County Jail.  Some of those involved are also facing drug charges.

Eleazer told WDBO "Some of these woman claim this is their only source of income."

Sheriff Grady Judd released a statement saying "No matter how desperate you are for the money, it is never okay to break the law."
