Orlando, Fla. — Orlando Police said they arrested 19-year-old Trey’von Jaheim Graham. He is being charged with attempted first degree murder and discharging a firearm in public.
Police initially described Thursday afternoons shooting as having taken place inside the mall’s food court, but later confirmed it happened outside at the food court entrance.
Fortunately there were no injuries. Orlando police Deputy Chief Eric Smith said there were a lot of people inside the mall at the time of the shooting, and it “could’ve been a deadly situation.”
Smith said off-duty officers were working security at the mall and were able to neutralize the suspects without incident and no officers deployed weapons.
