Kennedy Space Center is honoring veterans with free admission to its Visitor Complex on Veteran’s Day.
On Wednesday, November 11, U.S. military members will receive complimentary admission, along with half-off admission for up to three guests.

The promotion applies to all U.S. veterans, active duty, retired, and reserve personnel.
Also on Wednesday, entrance fees at national parks and forests will be waived for one day in honor of Veterans Day and U.S. military veterans and Gold Star Families will be able to receive a lifetime America the Beautiful pass.

The U.S. Department of the Interior made the announcement last week, that the president signed a bill that allows veterans and gold star families to visit national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, preserves, and other federal lands for free.
They are not alone in offering freebies to thank Veterans for their service.

Bar Louie — Free flatbread or burger (up to $15) for vets and active duty.

IHOP — Free stack of red, white and blue pancakes or a free breakfast combo from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 10 for veterans, active duty.
Krispy Kreme — Free doughnut and small coffee to active duty and veterans. No ID required.

Living Spaces: The West Coast-based home furnishings retailer will hold a Buy One, Give One event to celebrate Veterans Day. For every purchase of a select Revive product, Living Spaces will donate a mattress to a veteran. This event will take place in-store and online through Nov. 15.
Logan’s Roadhouse — Free entrée from a select menu from 3-6 p.m.
Longhorn Steakhouse — Veterans and current service members receive a free appetizer or dessert from a select menu. Check about the 10 percent discount for “eligible customers.”
