Accused Florida flasher found hiding under dock in the water

A Florida man is behind bars in connection with a flashing incident that occurred earlier this month, authorities say.

Victor Manuel Nieves Mendez was taken into custody after officers found him in the water near the Clermont Boat Ramp, hiding under a dock -- not far from where he’s accused of exposing himself to two 13-year-old girls on June 5th, according to the Clermont Police Department. Police say Mendez is a registered sex offender.

A judge has set Mendez’s bond at $10,000, court documents reveal.
