Meanwhile, officials said two British teens who had been arrested Sunday were later released and are not facing any charges, the AP reported.
The news came days after British citizen Malik Faisal Akram, 44, took four hostages at the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, according to the AP. Akram, who came to the U.S. as a tourist about two weeks before the incident, died in the standoff, the agency reported.
No further information about the new arrests was immediately available.
