Survey: Three in four Americans say ‘constant stream of bad news’ in 2020 has taken toll

A new survey of Americans uses numbers to show how tough the year 2020 has been for millions of Americans.

Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Vitamin Angels, the survey finds eight in ten Americans are desperate to hear some positive news before the year is over.

It also finds three out of four say the constant stream of bad news has taken a toll. Seven in ten people said they’ve made it a priority to do something positive every day as quarantine continues.

The study asked 2,000 people about way they’ve coped with the stress of the pandemic in 2020.

The top goal for people who took the survey is to make at least one person smile every day. Thirty-four percent are trying to make someone laugh daily as well as make it a priority to share positive news with their loved ones.

The survey also talks about Americans’ favorite coping methods, donations for the holidays, and other ways they remain positive. CLICK HERE to see the rest of the survey results.
