Beware doctored Pelosi video that shows her seemingly ‘drunk’

She stammers and stumbles, slowing down her speech almost like she can’t quite grasp the words - surely Speaker Pelosi is drunk.

But the now-popular video has been proven to be heavily doctored.

That fact hasn’t stopped the video from spreading across the internet like wildfire, though.

The three-minute footage has 2.1 million views on Facebook and has been shared 45,000 times.

The edited video was originally posted by a group called Politics WatchDog and shows Pelosi's Wednesday remarks at the Center for American Progress Ideas Conference slowed down to about 75% of its original speed.

The pitch has also been altered after it was slowed down to make it sound more like Pelosi's actual voice.

Even Fox & Friends had to admit the doctored videos made to look like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slurred her speech as if she was drunk were fake.

Hany Farid, a computer-science professor and digital-forensics expert at University of California, Berkeley, told the Post that there was "no question" the video had been altered and that "it's striking that such a simple manipulation can be so effective and believable to some."

President Trump posted an edited video late Thursday of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with the caption, "PELOSI STAMMERS THROUGH NEWS CONFERENCE."
