Spoilers stink.

People who go onto social media and give out spoilers stink even more.

Yet, maybe unsurprisingly, this is the battle that Marvel and Disney are fighting right before their big movie “Avengers: Endgame” hits theaters.

Despite all their best efforts, it’s been reported that a big chunk of legit footage has been leaked online.

The movie’s directors, the Russo brothers, took to Twitter to politely beg their fans not to be the guy that ruins it for everyone, writing, “because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help.”

“When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others,” they go on, “the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”

The brothers end the letter in a wonderfully quirky way.

“Remember, Thanos still demands your silence,” signing off, “as always, good luck and happy viewing.”
