KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Walt Disney World surprised children with critical illnesses and their families with a special celebration at Give Kids The World Village.
The event was held in honor of World Princess Week and included fairytale-themed activities and special interactions with Disney Princesses.
Disney says thousands of children with critical illnesses choose Disney Princess stories and characters as part of their wish experiences.
Walt Disney World and Give Kids The World have worked together for 40 years to create wish experiences for children and their families.
Disney is a founding partner of Give Kids The World, which provides Central Florida wish vacations to families at no cost.
Disney says a Disney wish is granted somewhere around the world every hour of every day.
