VIDEO: Osceola school resource officer under investigation after violent student body slam

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a school resource officer is videoed slamming a student violently to the ground.

It happened during a confrontation between classes at Kissimmee’s Liberty High School.

The video doesn’t explain exactly what the fight at the school was about.

But what we do know is that a female student in a yellow sweater is seen being thrown by a school resource officer hard to the concrete ground.

The girl appears to be unconscious as the deputy places her in handcuffs.

A crowd in the background screams and swears at the officer.

The school district says the issue is a sheriff’s office matter, as they don’t hire the School Resource Officers.

The sheriff’s office has not commented on the severity of the student’s injury or her current condition.
