ORLANDO, Fla. — For Tuesday, Fourth of July, scattered storms will again develop, with the highest chance from 3 to 8 p.m.
Hopefully, most of the rain will end before the fireworks celebrations.

If you do venture to the beach, the highest chance will be between 2 and 8 p.m., and any rain looks to be relatively brief.
Take cover from any lightning during your outdoor events.

Beaches have been seeing a lot of rescues. Please be cautious if going and stay near lifeguards.

Meteorologist Kassandra Crimi said heat index values will soar to 100 to 103 degrees today while temperatures peak in the 90s.
Orlando will be 97 degrees.
Mostly sunny and dry weather will continue.

Dangerous rip currents will exist at our local beaches Sunday, so use caution when entering the surf.
As many will be looking for a reprieve from this heat, tomorrow only gets hotter.
We wouldn’t be surprised if we see heat advisories issued for Monday.
