NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — A large power outage is in effect in New Smyrna Beach, according to the New Smyrna Beach Police Department.
In a Facebook post, NSBPD said around 8:44 pm a power outage was affecting the eastern portion of the mainland and all of the beachside.
Officers warned drivers in the area to proceed with caution and to use all intersections as four-way stops.
In the post, the police say that NSB Utilities is aware of the situation and is working to fix it.
