WDBO was honored to join the Patriot Day Remembrance Breakfast, marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

This breakfast is held each year at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

It honors Local Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, EMS and Hospitality Security Personnel for service above & beyond in the line of duty.

Awards were also presented, including the “Patriot Day Award” which looked at nominations from representatives from law enforcement and fire rescue agencies in Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Seminole Counties of individuals who have gone above and beyond service in the line of duty between August 2025 - present; and the “Patriot Day - Life Saving Hospitality Award” which looked at nominations of a team member who has demonstrated extraordinary lifesaving efforts.
