Orlando Science Center installs permanent tribute to Pulse victims & survivors

Orlando, Fla. — The Orlando Science Center has unveiled a new mixed media art installation custom created by a local artists as a tribute to victims and survivors of Pulse.

The piece is called "Facets of Love" by Christy McCutchen. It is multi dimensional and is reminiscent of a kaleidoscope or stained-glass window. The different layers use not just paper hearts from the Love Bridge, but also an Orlando transit map from local artist Nathan Selikoff, and a star map of the night sky on the day of the shooting.

With a general admissions pass, you can view the piece at the Orlando Science Center. The piece will remain on display permanently, along with other pieces in the newly renovated Fusion: A STEAM Gallery Exhibit area. Installation is also in progress for other local artwork pieces, and starting in late May, traveling art exhibits will be on display on a rotating basis.
