Orange County to offer free back to school immunizations

Orlando, Fla. — The Orange County Department of Health said it will hold a free back-to-school immunization event for students starting Monday, July 20.

Officials said the event is free for all public school students in Orange County and children transferring to Florida schools

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at West Oaks Mall on W. Colonial Drive, until August 8 including Saturdays, but will not be open Sundays.

Here’s everything you need to know:

· Appointments must be made by calling 407-723-5004.

· Parents or guardians must bring student’s current shot record, the child’s birth certificate, passport or other government-issued identification.

· One parent or guardian per child.

· Parent or guardian must bring a valid ID.

· No college vaccines.

· No religious exemptions.
