It's official; Tim Tebow is attempting another comeback

It appears former Florida Gator star and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow may have given up the dream of getting back into the NFL, but hasn't given up on being a professional athlete.

Tebow's agents Jimmy Sexton and Nick Khan have confirmed to ESPN, his current employer, that he is actively pursuing a career in professional baseball and plans to hold a workouts for Major League teams later this month.

According to Khan and Sexton, the ESPN/SEC Network broadcaster has trained for the last several months in Scottsdale, Arizona and in Los Angeles at a sport he hasn't played for more than a decade.

Tebow was an all-state baseball player in 2004 and hit .494 as a junior, helping Nease High School reach the final four of the Florida state playoffs.

Former major league catcher Chad Moeller has trained Tebow at this baseball school in Scottsdale and said in a statement that Tebow "has the skill set and potential to achieve his goal of playing in the major leagues."

According to ESPN, All 30 MLB teams will be invited to Tebow's workout at the end of the month, an event he has been preparing for over the past year.

Those who have seen Tebow hit have been surprised he picked up the sport so quickly after not playing it since high school.

Personally, I hope he succeeds and excels, his incredible dedication to what he believes in and work ethic deserves to be rewarded.
