ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Health Children’s Arnold Palmer Hospital hosted a launch event for Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining. The event took place inside the hospital’s Seacrest Studios.

Magical Dining is in its 21st year and includes 188 participating restaurants. The annual program raises support for local nonprofit organizations across Central Florida.

During the launch event, pediatric patients sampled and assembled kid-friendly meals, met local chefs, decorated aprons and participated in educational activities. Patients also selected a meal to be served in the hospital’s café during the dining program.

Seacrest Studios are interactive media studios in pediatric hospitals designed to provide entertainment and activities for patients during medical treatment. Representatives from Visit Orlando and three local restaurants visited the studio to participate in the event.

The Magical Dining program runs through Sept. 30.
