ORLANDO, Fla. — Visitors to Madame Tussauds Orlando can solve a Halloween mystery while learning how its wax figures are made during a new limited-time scavenger hunt.
“The Great Wax Heist” will run daily from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 during the attraction’s regular operating hours. The experience is included with admission.
The attraction-wide mystery centers on five figure-making tools that have disappeared from Madame Tussauds’ archives. Participants will use their smartphones to scan QR codes, uncover clues, solve puzzles and locate the missing artifacts.
Each clue will reveal information about the artistry and techniques pioneered by Marie Tussaud more than 250 years ago. Those techniques continue to be used to create figures of celebrities and cultural icons, including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Simu Liu and Jeff Goldblum.
“The Great Wax Heist gives guests a fun new way to experience Madame Tussauds Orlando,” General Manager Paul Gould said. “It’s an interactive Halloween experience that combines mystery, history and discovery.”
Madame Tussauds Orlando is located at ICON Park. Visit the attraction’s official website for operating hours, admission prices and tickets.
