ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County Clerk of Courts Chief Administrative Officer Joyce Boudoin has been appointed to serve as Clerk Ad Interim following the departure of Tiffany Moore Russell.
Chief Judge Lisa Munyon of the Ninth Judicial Circuit issued the administrative order appointing Boudoin and administered her oath of office at 5:01 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, according to the Clerk’s Office.
Longtime Clerk’s Office administrator
Boudoin has served as the office’s chief administrative officer since 2022 and has worked for the Orange County Clerk of Courts for 18 years.
Her previous positions include director of the Project Management Office, director of Court Operations and assistant administrator.
As chief administrative officer, Boudoin has overseen administrative and operational functions for the office.
How long will she serve?
Under the administrative order, Boudoin will remain Clerk Ad Interim until an appointment is made by Gov. Ron DeSantis or until the outcome of a special election held as part of November’s general election, according to the Clerk’s Office.
The winner of that special election will serve the remainder of the term vacated by Russell, whose final day as Orange County Clerk of Courts was Aug. 31.
