Walt Disney World, FL — Chasity Foster took to Facebook after losing her cross necklace which contained her 17-year-old daughter’s ashes.
Foster says the race was something her and her daughter, Shaylin, always ran with their large group of friends. After Shaylin died in a car accident in January, her friends and family felt they needed to run the race for her.
During the race Foster said she realized the necklace was gone which left her feeling unable to finish the race, however after being reminded that it’s what Shaylin would have wanted they finished the half marathon.
The search for the necklace has been overwhelming for Foster.
“We’re really, really touched just beyond measure by how many people are helping us and we really, really appreciate it.”
She asks that if anyone finds the necklace to please turn it in to the Disney Lost and Found.
