WINTER PARK, Fla. — Full Sail University says it has eliminated 180 positions as part of an organizational realignment to address current and future institutional priorities.
University officials confirmed the cuts affect academic, administrative, and operational areas of the institution.
According to Full Sail, changes in workflows, enrollment patterns, and technology have shifted where the university needs to focus resources and which roles are necessary moving forward.
The university said employees affected by the layoffs are receiving support from the Human Resources department.
Despite the workforce reduction, Full Sail said no degree programs are being eliminated as part of the realignment.
School leaders also said the changes are intended to maintain continuity in instruction, student services, and graduate support.
Full Sail said it remains confident in its ability to provide students with an exceptional educational experience in the future.
