The post claimed the Florida National Guard said the tank was not part of its fleet, and military expects said it “appeared to be a British combat vehicle.”

According to WPLG Local 10, Miami-Dade Police issued a statement on the tank. They confirmed it belongs to a “private collector of decommissioned, surplus military items.” Turns out the tank was demilitarized and unarmed. It was purchased as a collector item and was being delivered to the owner at the time video began circulating on social media.
