Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex — Looking for a date night that’s truly out of this world? Taste of Space: Celebrity Chef Edition returns to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Oct. 3-4, 2026, for its fifth anniversary celebration, bringing together celebrity chefs, veteran astronauts and immersive culinary experiences for an unforgettable weekend of food and discovery.

The weekend kicks off Saturday evening with an exclusive VIP dining experience inside Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex®. Guests will begin the night with champagne, hors d’oeuvres and opportunities to mingle with astronauts in the Rocket Garden before taking part in a multi-course dinner.
During the event, celebrity chefs and astronaut sous chefs will prepare and present each course through live cooking demonstrations. Featured chefs include Aaron May, Marc Murphy and Rocco DiSpirito. Jon Ashton will serve as the event’s master of ceremonies.
The VIP dinner is limited to guests 21 and older and is priced at $499 per person. If that’s a bit out of your price range, don’t fret. The celebration continues Sunday with a Food Science Fireside Chat beginning at 11 a.m. The discussion, which is included with regular admission to the visitor complex, will feature chefs Murphy, DiSpirito and May exploring the science behind food and cooking. A meet-and-greet and photo opportunity will follow the presentation.
Officials say the event is designed to combine culinary creativity with space exploration, offering visitors a one-of-a-kind experience at the nation’s premier space tourism destination. The 2026 event marks five years of the Taste of Space program.
