Lake Buena Vista, Fla. — Disney announced on Thursday that it will begin a phased reopening of Disney Springs on May 20.
Those measures will include extra cleaning, face coverings for employees and guests, “limited-contact guest services” and more safety training. The company will also place new limits on capacity, parking and operating hours.
Disney Springs Vice President Matt Simon made the announcement on the company’s blog Thursday.
The first step involves third-party operators at Disney Springs, according to Simon.
All other areas of Walt Disney World remain closed.
