Arden Villas responds to demands from tenants after Miya’s death

Orlando, Fla. — Since the death of 19 year old Miya Marcano, residents at the Arden Villas apartment complex in Orlando have sent a list of demands to the owner.

Among those demands include more security cameras, the elimination of master keys, and no visits without the approval from a tenant.

After a private meeting Friday to discuss the next steps, the apartment sent out an email to the tenants, addressing their demands.

Since Miya’s death, there have been ID checks at the front gates and a bigger security presence.
