Earth’s orbit — The test message read, “Whoa it worked!!”
SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk sent the tweet through his companies nascent internet-satellite constellation just after 6 UTC (universal time) or 2 a.m.. EST.
It took about two minutes for the message to travel through Starlink, the orbiting network that the company began assembling this year.
Whoa, it worked!!

The test is actually a big deal since only 60 broadband satellites are in place, the company has approval to launch another 12,000 and recently asked for permission to send up another 30,000.
It will be some time before the rest of us can use the system, Musk says about 400 satellites need to be in place to provide “minor” coverage and “800” for what he calls “moderate” coverage.
