A young male bobcat had a rough day Tuesday after his head got caught in a birdhouse while trying to catch dinner.
A Fort Meyers homeowner discovered the wildcat in the precarious predicament in his front yard.
BOBCAT RESCUE: This morning, our team responded to a call about a bobcat with its head stuck in a birdhouse. When our veterinarians and wildlife rehabbers arrived, they sedated the bobcat and began working to free it from the wooden box. (1/4) pic.twitter.com/DsBH7Bbrhh

He immediately summoned the assistance of the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) for help.
A team of veterinarians came to the rescue, they were able to sedate the animal and dismantle the house.
Once the team removed one side, they discovered the squirrel, AKA cat cuisine, hiding inside.

It ran off unharmed as the team continued to work on freeing the preditor.
Once the house was removed, the team checked the bobcat for injuries and treated it with fluids for dehydration.
The animal checked out ok and was transported to a nearby preserve where it was released.
