A woman is getting a lot of praise online for rescuing a stranger from a creepy man who approached her on the streets of New York City asking her about her toes.
TikTok user @pikanab recorded herself as she noticed a woman who she didn’t know getting questioned by a man on the street.
“I’m literally by my car about to go out, and she looks really uncomfortable,” she said in the video that’s now viral.
The woman approached the stranger pretending to be her friend asking her who the man is. The woman told her they were “just talking.” The man then admits he was asking her “if her toes are long.”
The TikTok user then asks the other woman if she knows the man.
“Um, no,” the woman replied.
“I don’t think I’m going to get to know him. Let’s go,” she says back, grabbing the woman to pull her away from the woman. She then offers her a ride.
“Yes please,” the woman answered.
The Daily Mail shared many reactions to the video on Twitter where people praise the woman for rescuing the other woman whom she didn’t even know. Thousands of people commented on the actual video calling @pikanab “brave” and noting she might have saved the other woman from getting kidnapped.
@pikanab later did another TikTok video responding to claims the video was staged. She said the video is not fake. She admitted to being harassed by strange men on the streets in the past and she wanted to help the other girl.
