A sign on the front door of John Henry’s Pub reads: “Stop here, put on your mask.” However, two men who walked in Sunday for a couple of beers ignored the message, WTXF reported.

“I just politely said, ‘If you are walking through the bar, just put your masks on as you’re walking,’” server Jamie Ledwith said. “'As soon as you sit down you can take them off. No big deal.'”

But, apparently for the men,, it was.

Ledwith noticed that after they left, they did not leave her a tip. Rather they wrote the word “mask” on the receipt.

“I was definitely taken aback,” the single mother said. “I wasn’t mad. I was just like shocked. I was just like, ‘Why would you do that?’”

Restaurant owner Kathy Kearny was shocked.

“It was not about losing the tip. It had nothing to do with it. It was more about the disrespect of her just doing her job,” Kearny said. “She’s following my rules. I’m following the governor’s rule.”
