Thousands of artists flock to downtown Orlando this weekend, create massive art experience

Imagine a flash mob, but on multiple streets and stages.

That's what's going to be taking over Orlando this week from Thursday to Sunday night - it's called Immerse 2019 by Creative City Project.

Their website reads “we know what it’s like to be caught up in the uninspiring day to day” and “experience art that will make you say ‘wow.’”

General Admission PLUS Experience tickets are already sold out, but many more GA and VIP are still available.

Over a 1,000 artists will take part in the four day festival ranging everything musicians to street artists to live art installations to interactive pieces.

There will be road closures caused by the event too.

The info at Orlando.gov states the following will be blocked:

  • Orange Avenue from Central Boulevard to Anderson Street
  • Pine Street between Garland Avenue and Court Avenue (local traffic maintains access)
  • Church Street from Garland Avenue to Court Avenue
  • Eastbound South Street from Boone Avenue to Orange Avenue

For more info on the traffic you can call: 321-710-5227
