Six Power Slap competitors have been suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission after testing positive for a variety of banned substances, including steroids and narcotics.
The suspensions were approved pending a full disciplinary hearing.
The Commission also voted unanimously to regulate slap fighting in 2022, with Power Slap serving as the main promotion.
Ex-Nevada Commission chairman Stephen Cloobeck expressed regret for his vote to approve slap fighting in the state.
