Seminole County is accepting applications for its Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The county has $14.2 million of federal CARES Act money to support the program.
The program is to assist county residents struggling financially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The money can pay back rent for up to one year. Assistance is also available for individuals or families who can’t pay their utilities.
If Seminole County can not distribute the CARES Act funding by September, a portion of the money must be returned to Washington D. C.
