Piece of SpaceX rocket sent from Florida set to crash into the Moon

Experts say that a part of a SpaceX rocket was originally launched from Florida back in February of 2015 is now on a collision course with the Moon.

The launch was part of a Falcon 9 interplanetary mission to send a space weather satellite on a journey nearly a million miles away, but after a while, the rocket’s second stage booster became worn down and did not have enough fuel to make it safely back to Earth.

The booster is expected to impact the Moon on March 4th at 7:25 a.m. EST. However, where exactly on the Moon it will hit is uncertain. Also some good news-Astronomers at Harvard University say its not expected to damage the moon or destroy it.
