Montpellier, France — A policeman in France was surprised to discover the woman who was blatantly flaunting lockdown rules by sunbathing on a closed beach, was a blow-up doll.
A video shared on YouTube shows the officer approaching the 'woman' lying under an umbrella on Carnon beach - just outside the city of Montpellier.

The officer is obviously confused as he approached the supposed rule-breaker and has to stop for a moment to assess the situation.
He carefully pokes the woman on the leg to test the bearings as a real life woman chuckles behind the camera.
Once the determination is made, he stomps her flat, packs up the beach gear and carries it all away.
No word on how the doll ended up on the beach, but @Gendarmerie_34 did see the humor in the situation, sharing photos on twitter with the caption "The gendarmes rescued a doll that was abandoned by its owner."
