New Amazon gadget puts camera in your bedroom, records your outfits

Technology can now help us pick what clothes to wear, with Amazon introducing a new gadget yesterday that helps choose users' outfits.

The $200 Echo Look -- which can also do everything that the Amazon Echo speaker does -- has a voice-controlled camera that lets users take full-body photos and videos of themselves to collect and compare outfits.

An app keeps track of different outfits, and there's a "Style Check" feature lets you choose two photos and have Alexa determine which one is better.

It works by using machine-learning technology with what Amazon's describes as "advice from fashion specialists," with fit, color, styling, seasons and trends considered.
