Southlake, Texas — A Southlake Texas police officer is being called a hero after making his way through a frozen pond to save a dog from drowning.
Sergeant Gaylon Music says they got a call of a dog trapped in a frozen lake, who couldn’t get out and was struggling to stay afloat.
“The dog went under once, and when he went under again, I knew that dog didn’t have much longer, I knew he wasn’t going to make it” Music says.
Both Officer Music and Shadow are doing fine.
