KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A 70-year-old Kissimmee man died Saturday following a head-on crash with a vehicle carrying an adult and three children.

On Orange Blossom Trail near Martin Street, Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the man was driving southbound before crossing into northbound lanes “for an unknown reason.”

The man’s sedan collided head-on with an SUV occupied by a 44-year-old Kissimmee woman who was transporting two boys and a girl ages 10, 5 and 4 according to FHP.

This crash is still under investigation at the time of this report.

Those on-board the SUV suffered minor injuries, but the man later died at Osceola Regional Hospital, according to FHP; each victim was reportedly using a seatbelt or a child restraint.
