Wife of Cheney Mason receiving threatening calls

The Seminole County Sheriff’s office is investigating harassing phone calls made to the residence of Casey Anthony’s attorney, Cheney Mason.

Police responded to the Longwood neighborhood around 8 p.m. Tuesday, where Shirley Mason said she had been a victim of unwanted calls from multiple callers.

Mason told police the calls were “so bad” she disconnected the phones inside the house, according to a report released by police.

The report says, “She stated she is in fear for her and her families safety since their information is currently up on Facebook.”

Shirley Mason stated that several calls were made to their home asking if Casey Anthony was there.  Several voice mails were left on Wednesday which included the following:

“She (Casey Anthony) can run but she can’t hide.”

“Your scumbag husband and Baez better sleep with one eye open.”

“I hope baby Caylee haunts you in your sleep.”

“How could you do that to a child killer.”

The investigation is ongoing from the Seminole County Sheriff’s office.
