“Well here is something you don’t see everyday.” That is the words from the Brevard County Sheriff’s office after they a man was caught on camera stealing a crossbow by shoving it in his pants.
They say on February 6th, employees at the True Value Store in Mims noticed two crossbows were missing, and after looking at the surveillance video, that’s when the saw the thief.
The man was later found at a Walgreens and tried to run, but didn’t get very far. The man, identified at Darren Durrant is currently in the Seminole County Jail and will face charges in Brevard for that crossbow theft.
