ORLANDO, Fla. — UCF Police have placed CrimeLine signs in the area where over 30 cars were broken into Monday night. It happened near the Lake Claire Apartments.
The suspects were discovered by passersby who alerted police. Responding officers found the suspects’ vehicle had crashed on Rouse Road, but they were able to get away.
Police recovered the vehicle and the tools used to smash windows in the parked vehicles.
UCFPD officers were at the apartments on Tuesday to take statements from victims and witnesses.
Security video indicates there are three people involved in the crimes.
